Case Study — Charleston, SC

Broad Street Pressure Wash — Charleston Exterior Cleaning.

A pressure-washing business with real work and no site built to sell it — rebuilt into a mobile-first site with a page for every service and every area they cover, and a quote form built to actually convert. Here’s how.

The Client

Good work, no site built to book it.

Broad Street Pressure Wash cleans houses, driveways, roofs, decks, and commercial exteriors across Charleston and the Lowcountry. The work speaks for itself — but the old site wasn’t built to turn a visitor into a booked job. One catch-all page tried to cover every service and every town at once, on a layout that wasn’t built mobile-first, where most of their traffic actually comes from.

The ask: a site that’s easy to book from on a phone, with a real page for each service and each area they cover, so it can be found for the exact job someone’s searching for.

The Approach

A mobile-first rebuild, split by service and by area.

01 Rebuilt mobile-first, top to bottom.

Most people searching for pressure washing are doing it from a phone, standing in their driveway looking at the stains. We rebuilt the site to lead with that — fast-loading pages, a layout designed for a small screen first, and clear paths to a quote from anywhere on the site.

02 A dedicated page for every job type.

Instead of one page trying to describe house washing, roof cleaning, driveway and concrete cleaning, deck cleaning, and commercial work all at once, each service got its own page — written for what that specific job involves and what a customer wants to know before they book it.

03 A page for every area they serve.

Charleston isn’t one search market — it’s Mount Pleasant, James Island, West Ashley, and more, each with its own set of searches. We built dedicated service-area pages across the Lowcountry footprint Broad Street actually covers, instead of leaving it to a single generic “service areas” list.

04 A quote form built to get filled out.

The old contact flow asked for more than it needed to. We rebuilt it into a short, low-friction quote form — fewer fields, clear next step, no dead ends — so a homeowner who’s ready to book doesn’t bounce before they hit submit.

05 Cleaned up the technical foundation.

Optimized images so before/after project photos load fast instead of dragging the page down, and built the site on clean semantic HTML so Google can read exactly what each page is about.

The Results

What shipped.

Broad Street is a newer engagement than some of our other work, so we’re not yet sitting on months of Search Console history the way we are for older builds. What we can point to is what actually shipped: a mobile-first rebuild, a real page for every service and every service area, and a quote form built to convert — live on the site today.

Where it stands.

Since the rebuild went live, the new site has been fully indexed by Google and is beginning to rank across the Charleston pressure-washing keyword cluster — the house-washing, roof-cleaning, driveway, and service-area searches the new pages were built to target. It’s early, and there’s real room to climb, but the foundation is doing exactly what it was built to do: getting the site in front of the searches that turn into booked jobs.
